Year 6 have had yet another brilliant day out - this time at Northumbria University (which is where Miss Potts went when she was a student). We had a great day with our student reps, Heather and Nonso, who were really impressed with our behaviour and the quality of the questions that we asked. We played games in the enormous sports hall, did a treasure hunt in the library and explored the campus by playing 'Campus Monopoly'. Extra congratulations to Luke who was chosen as the star pupil in our group during the graduation ceremony, due to his outstanding behaviour and attitude during the day.

We had a real treat today as Year 6 visited Durham Cathedral for their leavers service and then went out for a meal afterwards. Everyone had a day to remember and set a fantastic example for our school as usual. Plus, the ice creams were delicious!
Here are some of the posters that we have created as part of the alcohol awareness project with 4Real. We will let everyone know who is chosen as the winners as soon as we find out.
Today was our first music lesson of the term. We sang songs, played the chime bars and did some percussion activities.
